Founded in 1964, Sederma became a member of the Croda International Group in 1997. Sederma is a world leader in the field of active ingredients for the cosmetic industry, combining advanced biotechnology with state-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Located near Paris and thanks to our renowned international success, we have recently extended our present facilities by 50%, from R & D and manufacturing to administration and warehousing. This is a great incentive to our highly skilled teams in the continued creation of new products and new concepts.
The company is dedicated to the development of active ingredients and in the creation of innovative concepts for cosmetics, based on the mastery of biotechnology and botanical extraction.
A team of competent researchers is responsible for the dynamism of the R & D Laboratory. The production workshop and the Quality Control Laboratory are equipped with modern and sophisticated equipment which ensures the constant quality of our products.
Equipped with a high performance and modern claim substantiation Laboratory, Sederma uses powerful in-vitro, ex vivo and in vivo tests to prove the efficacy of our products.
 
Sederma strives for continuous improvement of quality and service and have received the following certifications: ISO 14001 in 2003, OHSAS 18001 in 2007 and more recently the Cosmetic Ingredient Good Manufacturing Practice.
We have developed a unique range of biochemical actives, with substantiated efficacy for sebum regulation (‘adjusting’ dry or oily skin), wrinkle reduction, skin firming, protection from free radicals (which cause skin damage) and a host of other benefits.
